Saddle Brook, NJ, November 01, 2005 -- Ajilon Professional Staffing, a unit of Adecco (NYSE: ADO), the world’s largest staffing firm, announced today that senior regional vice president, Cyndi McDermott has been promoted to senior vice president. In her new role McDermott will be responsible for all Ajilon Finance and Ajilon Office operations in California and the Pacific Northwest and will serve on the company’s executive team. Additionally, she will look to expand business and develop leadership teams throughout the West Coast region and will continue to be a valuable resource in increasing public relations and marketing initiatives.
McDermott began her career with Ajilon as a branch manager in 1998. During her seven years with the company she has grown the Orange County and San Diego regions into two of the most profitable and fastest growing regions in the company. She has been instrumental in the opening of eight Ajilon Office and three Ajilon Finance branches as well as the Orange County Ajilon Solutions division. McDermott is known for her ability to build outstanding teams, develop key leaders and play vital roles in company-wide initiatives.

An industry expert, McDermott also gives presentations to local organizations and associations on a variety of workplace topics, including monthly jobs market report findings and impacts of Sarbanes-Oxley on the accounting profession.
